OUR RESPONSE TO COVID-19
In order to protect our staff, volunteers, and Brighton Food Bank clients from the spread of COVID-19, we have reluctantly taken the decision to close our doors to the public. Brighton Food Bank will continue to operate, however we ask, at this time, that those wishing to donate items to the food bank please refrain from doing so. We are operating a delivery service for our current and new clients, who will be contacted by our team regarding this service. We will keep you updated on our progress as it unfolds across social media.
For all existing food bank clients with appointments, we will make contact with you to arrange delivery of food on the day your food bank appointment had been scheduled. Please do not come to the food bank.
For new referrals or where referrals have been submitted but no appointment has been made, we are currently unable to provide any assistance at the time. However, we are working hard to find a solution and will keep you informed when we have more information.
For those wanting to donate items to the food bank, please give money instead by following the link below, all money given will go directly to Brighton Food Bank and will enable us to continue to operate during this pandemic.
For all existing volunteers, we ask that you do not come into the office, unless you have been asked to do so, and follow government guidelines. Necessary tasks will be carried out, subject to changes directed by the government.
